Commerical Manager

Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor within the water sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a major clean water pipeline project in Romsey, Southampton. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead the commercial function on a high-profile AMP programme with long-term project activity.Key Responsibilities:Lead the commercial function across the clean water pipeline projectManage NEC Option C contract administration and complianceOversee cost-value reconciliations, forecasting and commercial reportingManage target costs, compensation events and change control processesIdentify, assess and mitigate commercial risks and opportunitiesWork closely with project teams, supply chain partners and key stakeholdersProvide commercial leadership to support the successful delivery of the projectJob Requirements:Experience as a Commercial Manager within water, utilities, civil engineering or major infrastructure projectsStrong quantity surveying experience and commercial management expertiseComprehensive knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly NEC Option CExperience managing target cost contracts, cost-value reconciliations and project forecastingUnderstanding of compensation events, change control and commercial risk managementExcellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skillsWater, utilities or pipeline project experience would be highly advantageousContract Details:Location: Romsey, Southampton16-month contractImmediate start ..... full job details .....
