Duties:

• Managing and motivating a team of vehicle technicians to meet productivity and KPI targets
• Delegating tasks based on technician skill sets and workload
• Identifying training needs and implementing technical development plans
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date workshop paperwork
• Processing job cards efficiently to ensure work-in-progress targets are achieved
• Ensuring health and safety procedures comply with industry standards
• Supporting the ongoing smooth operation of the workshop, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a workshop controller, shift manager, or similar role within the automotive industry
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and workshop processes
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to allocate resources efficiently and delegate effectively
• Good organisation and administrative skills
• A positive attitude with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
