Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor

We are currently advertising on behalf of an Automotive commercial vehicle dealership who are currently recruiting for a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor to assist in their busy Service Department in the Avonmouth area.

Our Motor Trade Client is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor who is high performing and can provide only the best level of customer service.

- Additional earnings can be made through commission earned from the selling of service contracts
- 22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays rising to 25 after 5 years of employment, and then 27 after 10 years

- Working hours are 40 hours per week between the opening hours of 7:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm

Requirements:

- A working experience within a Service Advisor role
- The ability to upsell on service work and service plans
- Customer Focused and an excellent communicator
- Familiarity with using Motor Dealership Database Software

Duties of role:

- Correctly capturing all customer details and vehicle faults at the first point of contact.
- Taking telephone bookings from customers and accurately loading them into the workshop.
- Raising job cards and ensuring all necessary and compliant documentation forms parts of the job pack.
- Informing customers of their ongoing vehicle status.
- Entering additions/changes to our client''s customer database.
- Handing over finished vehicles to customers.
- Giving customers detailed explanations on the extent of repairs.
- Monitoring whether repairs are being carried out to the required delivery time.
- Actively sell aftersales services to include Service Contracts.
- Discussing and arranging payment with customers.
- Booking in vehicles to ensure continuity of workshop loading.
- Provide advice on warranties and service requirements.
- In the case of legally required inspections, explain the necessary vehicle test requirements.
- Arrange schedules for MOT/vehicle inspections.

For your hard work, our client is offering a salary of up to £32598 with OTE of circa £35000.
