Diagnostic Technician £40,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary (DOE) + Monthly Bonus Chelmsford Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday (8:00am 5:00pm) 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am 12:30pm) Our client, a busy and expanding main dealership based in Chelmsford, is looking to recruit an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join their growing workshop. Due to continued expansion, the workshop is increasing from 4 Diagnostic Technicians to 6, creating an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a well-established team with outstanding earning potential and long-term career development. Applications are welcomed from Diagnostic Technicians of any manufacturer background. Full manufacturer training and a fast-track accreditation programme will be provided, so previous experience with a specific brand is not required. Candidates from both car and commercial vehicle backgrounds will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics, fault finding and electrical testing. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults. Complete servicing, repairs and maintenance to the highest standards. Use the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems. Work closely with Workshop Control and the Service Department to maximise workshop efficiency. Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work where appropriate.
