Position: Commercial Vehicle Body Builder Location: Sheffield (Ideal for candidates based in Sheffield, Chesterfield or Rotherham) Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks)We are working leading provider of commercial vehicle solutions, who are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Body Builder to join their dynamic team. This role will be based on-site, with the opportunity for a permanent position after 12 weeks.The ideal candidate will have:Experience with MIG welding, and proficiency in using all related welding equipment.A background in vehicle body building is essential.Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.A UK Driver''s License is required, and an HGV license is a bonus.Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.Responsibilities:As a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder, you will:Manufacture and assemble bespoke bodywork including tippers, plant vehiclesInterpret technical drawings and specifications to guide your work.Perform MIG welding and assemble vehicle body components.Utilise a variety of welding tools, hand tools, and power tools to complete tasks.Contribute to sub-assembly work, as well as refurbishments and new vehicle builds.BenefitsHourly Rate: 13.50 to 16.00 per hour (DOE)Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (3:00 PM finish on Fridays)Overtime: Time and a half after 39 hours, Saturday morning overtime availableAdditional Benefits: Paid breaks20 days ..... full job details .....
