Commercial Underwriter

to join our London office. As a commercial combined underwriter, you''ll be handling existing business cases across all of our specialisms.What You''ll Be Doing

Underwriting a renewal book across a wide array of specialisms, including charity, care, heritage, education, office and leisureManage your own monthly renewal allocation and handle a select few of our large casesDay-to-day work including mid-term adjustments, client queries, and reviewing surveys, all to a high standard with clear and effective communicationCommunicate with brokers to deliver consistently high service levels and retention of policiesCollaborate with other team members and wider Benefact Group colleagues across Risk Management, Claims, Sales, etc.What you''ll need to have

Commercial combined / Property underwriting experienceCert CII qualified or willingness to achieve qualifications within an agreed timescaleAttention to detailResilient, positive and pro-active with a can-do attitudeAbility to challenge and identify opportunities for improvementWhat We Offer
