THE ROLE:
Joining the firm's Cambridge office, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the commercial, data protection and intellectual property offerings across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial lawyer with a proven track record of developing client relationships, winning new business and establishing a strong market presence. As the appointed Commercial Solicitor, you will be advising clients on a broad range of matters including contracts, technology, data protection, IP issues and commercial agreements. Alongside your technical expertise, you will also be playing a key role in developing the firm’s profile within the Cambridge market through networking and business development activities. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to identify cross-selling opportunities and support the continued growth of the wider business.
THE CANDIDATE
Applications are sought from experienced Commercial Lawyers with proven technical expertise in all aspects of commercial contract, data protection and intellectual property matters. You will have the ambition and drive to develop and expand a successful practice and be able to demonstrate experience advising on commercial, technology, data protection and intellectual property matters. You will possess the ability to generate new work and build a strong market presence in Cambridge. Ideal Commercial Lawyers will have strong leadership skills, experience of mentoring and developing junior lawyers as well as an excellent commercial awareness.
