Commercial Sales Lead

Location: South East England (Hybrid)
Salary: -55,000 base + OTE -75,000+

Are you a proven deal-maker with a track record of closing high-value contracts and driving revenue growth? This is a high-impact commercial leadership role where you''ll take full ownership of sales performance, profitability, and client engagement in the energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors.



The Role

You''ll be responsible for originating, negotiating, and closing complex deals, while ensuring contracts deliver maximum value. This isn''t account management-it''s a front-footed commercial role where you''ll shape strategy, protect margins, and expand key accounts.



Key Responsibilities

  • Own sales targets, pipeline, and conversion of high-value opportunities.

  • Lead senior-level contract negotiations, ensuring profitable outcomes.

  • Identify and secure new business across construction, infrastructure, and energy.

  • Grow existing accounts, strengthening partnerships and increasing spend.

  • Provide accurate forecasting, pricing models, and margin analysis.



What We''re Looking For

  • Demonstrable success in commercial sales roles with revenue and margin accountability.

  • Strong track record of closing high-value contracts and growing accounts.

  • Commercial and financial acumen (P&L, forecasting, risk management).

  • Skilled negotiator, credible at C-suite and senior procurement level.

  • Results-driven, proactive, and commercially sharp.
