Commercial Risk/Governance Manager (QS)

We are supporting a top tier contractor in their search for a Commercial (Risk/Governance) Lead to join one of its high-performing regions. This is an interesting opportunity for a commercially astute construction professional (Senior QS/Commercial Manager) to play a pivotal role in strengthening governance, managing risk and driving commercial excellence across a diverse project portfolio.Working closely with your regional counterparts, commercial, operational, legal and finance teams, you will provide oversight of a range of projects'' commercial life cycle, ensuring robust processes, controls and governance frameworks are embedded across projects from pre-construction through to final account.You will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining commercial governance and procurement frameworks Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, client requirements and contractual obligations Providing oversight of contract administration across NEC4, JCT, BandD, PPC2000 forms of contract (No PandL responsibility but) Leading commercial reporting, performance monitoring and KPI management Supporting bid governance, financial scrutiny and risk management processes Monitoring commercial exposure, variations, liabilities and contractual risk Driving consistency and best practice across multiple projects and business functions Supporting project teams in maintaining strong commercial discipline and audit readiness, including oversight of Large Subcontracts and Main contract ..... full job details .....
