Commercial Property Solicitor (Locum)

Location: Exeter, Devon Contract Type: Temporary/Locum Salary: £45 to £60ph Join a niche Devon based commercial law firm to assist with Commercial Property work. Requirement is for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor/Lawyer to join the team to provide short term holiday cover for 3 weeks, from 5th to 23rd October. On site requirement ideally, although hybrid/remote options available if necessary. Full time or 4 days per week working hours. Position Overview Our client, a niche commercial law firm in central Devon, is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Locum Solicitor/Lawyer to join their team, to cover a period of holiday. As a Commercial Property Locum Solicitor, you will run the files as a standalone Commercial Property Solicitor. Work includes general commercial leasehold property advice - termination of leasehold interest and lease renewals, site set-up, plot sales, advice in relation to acquisition of freehold premises, development land and site acquisition and general property law advice. Responsibilities Assist with a commercial property caseload. Work autonomously and flexibly. Provide excellent legal advice to clients with a great eye for detail. Requirements 4+ years'' experience in commercial property law. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent fee earning experience. Strong communication and client care skills.
