About the Role

The Commercial Plumber position, based in Surrey and offering a £45,000 per annum salary on a full-time basis, involves mobile work across Surrey and Merton. Joining a mechanical engineering firm with over five decades of industry experience, you will service and repair commercial plant rooms in civic buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, libraries, fire stations, schools, and offices. Key responsibilities include planned preventative maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing actuators, expansion vessels, hot and cold water systems, strainers, and pumps. This van-mobile role demands strong commercial plumbing skills and a proactive approach to maintaining diverse client contracts.

My Client are a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.
They seek a Mobile commercial plumber/mech engineer   to carry out services maintenance and repair Predominantly to their contracts across Surrey and Merton.
Contracts include : Civic Buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, Libraries, Community Centres, Fire Stations, Schools and Offices
Your role will be to work on van mobile basis across Merton & Surrey carrying out the following works in commercial plant rooms :
•             Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
•             Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
•             Actuators, expansion vessels, hot and cold water systems, strainers, Pumps.
•             General commercial plumbing repair.
•             Responding to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance issue
Qualifications desired :

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a Mechanical discipline such as Plumbing and Heating
UHWSS or G3 Qualified
Commercial plant room exp
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
Full Clean Driving License
Must pass an enhanced DBS background check

Must Live within a reasonable distance of Surrey & Merton.

Package on offer :
£40-46k dependant on experience and qualifications held.
40 hour week Monday to Friday
Travel time paid after 30 minutes given each way.
Fully expensed company van, fuel card and expenses.
Call out rota 1 in 7 weeks with a £200 retainer
Pension, 20 days holiday and plenty of overtime available.
