Commercial Plumber

Commercial Heating Install Engineer required - London area - £50k plus van and excellent benefits.
We are recruiting for a leading company in the combustion and burner services industry, known for their exceptional reputation and long-standing presence in the market. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their team with an additional Commercial Heating Install Engineer.
Duties
- Install commercial pipework systems including heating, chilled, hot/cold water, and gas systems.
- Installation of plant and equipment such as boilers, pumps, water heaters, unvented cylinders, pressurisation units, chillers, AHUs, dosing pots etc.
- Undertake pipefitting using a variety of materials (carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, plastic) and methods (press-fit, threaded, welded, etc.).
- Plan and execute pipework routes on-site in accordance with design drawings and project plans.
- Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to meet installation deadlines and milestones.
- Interpret mechanical layout drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety regulations, company RAMS, and site-specific requirements.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, with attention to neatness, alignment, and support systems.
- Maintain daily records of work completed and report any variations or potential issues affecting progress. Reporting to the office/supervisory team as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial pipefitting and mechanical installation of plant rooms.
- Strong knowledge of heating and hot/cold water systems in commercial settings.
- Ability to interpret drawings and plan installation routes effectively.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline.
- Commercial Gas qualifications such as CODNCO1/COCN1 along with Test n Purge TPCP1/TPCP1A beneficial
- Experience working to project programmes and collaborating with site teams and supporting contractors.
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean or minimal points).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach on-site.
