Commercial Operations Coordinator West Sussex 38K On-SiteAn established fresh produce business specialising in soft fruit is looking for the next person to join their ever-growing business! If you are looking for a new role and have experience in the industry that entails coordinating and monitoring stock levels, logistics, customer orders and liaising between different teams in a business, then this could be for you! About The JobProcessing customer orders and sending them to the production team, communicating delivery updates to customers, and managing product specification changesUpdate demand forecasts and highlighting shortages / excess stock positionsAnalyse and report operational capacity vs. predicted demand and how customers and suppliers performed against the initial planSupport commercial and operational teams in making any necessary adjustmentsMonitoring stock levels, reporting waste, tracking deliveries and investigating discrepancies.Liaise with suppliers on availability and delivery schedules and track their performance in terms of quality issues, waste, OTIF, etc.Working hours are typically 8-5, though flexibility to work on weekends is required. The occasional earlier start to handle customer orders is to be expected, though these will be compensated with an earlier finish!
