Commercial Officer, SC, Hybrid, £550pd inside IR35

A Commercial Manager - SC Security Cleared is required by our central government client based in London.£550 a day (umbrella)Hybrid working - 3 days a week onsite in LondonWorking in an SC Security Cleared environment. You will hold a current SC or DV (Developed vetting) clearance or be eligible to undertake.Essential Skills and Experience.Relevant commercial experience and strong understanding of the commercial/procurement life cycle. This includes knowledge and/or awareness of public procurement procedures (eg Procurement Act 2023, PcR 2015 or a similar statutory framework and contract law)*Experience in conducting the end-to-end procurement process across an area of responsibility taking into consideration the complexity, value strategic importance, and use of appropriate key commercial tools.*Good commercial awareness and strong analytical skills to perform commercial analysis on spend and market data, extract key insights, and deliver well-justified recommendations that support strategic decision-making and problem-solving.*Ability to work as part of a Matrix team structure to support performance, manage setbacks and resolve issues internally.*Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels using different communication styles to articulate the best procurement approach, responsibilities for delivery and benefits that have been achieved and to establish governance and relationship arrangements.*Ability to manage internal governance and support risk controls ..... full job details .....
