We are seeking a Commercial Officer to join our team, supporting divisional operations and leading on high-value commercial activity across sourcing, contract management, and sales. Key Responsibilities: Lead competitive and single-source procurements, including drafting invitations to tender and negotiating complex contracts. Provide commercial advice and acquisition strategies to project teams. Manage contracts of high value and complexity, including performance reviews, schedule changes, and cost amendments. Take enforcement action where appropriate to manage supplier performance. Deliver and oversee commercial sales activity in line with business requirements. Operate as a trusted commercial advisor within the team and across the wider function. Promote a proactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeing in all commercial activities. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience working independently in a commercial role covering procurement, sourcing, and contract management. Strong judgement and decision-making skills with the ability to assess risk and deliver effective commercial solutions. Experience leading tender evaluations and supplier negotiations. Competence in monitoring supplier performance and analysing contract management information. Professional qualification (e.g. working towards or holding MCIPS) or equivalent relevant experience.
