Commercial / Mid Corporate Account Executive (Inherited Portfolio)

One of West Yorkshire''s best-known brokers, this firm has had a presence in Halifax for a number of years and is home to some of its best known insurance practitioners. Unsurprisingly, its portfolio includes some of the region''s largest and most coveted accounts, including well-known names from such sectors as Manufacturing, Retail and the Professions. Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, the need has arisen for an additional Account Executive to join the team and inherit a portfolio of accounts. So broad is the branch''s portfolio, that the accounts to be passed over can be tweaked to suit your skills, experience and ambitions. For example, you may be more comfortable with SME to middle-market risks paying commissions between £2,500 to £10,000. Alternatively, you may currently be in the mid-corporate space, but want to push yourself to deal with even larger risks with complex global exposures that generate fees in excess of £50,000. Either way, the focus here is very much on the management of existing business rather than developing new accounts. Of course, you will be encouraged to grow the account both organically, or by doing some new business, but the expectations in this regard are very realistic and there is telesales and marketing support on hand, if desired.
