Commercial Manager

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role will be the commercial focal for the contract management and execution of the programme. This role requires building effective relationships with UK internal functions and the UK MoD customer to support, advise and guide in the team discharging its obligations under the contract and delivering change proposals for key strategic work streams of the overall programme.Particular areas of focus are:Contract management including interpretation of contractual terms and positionsChange management and additional taskingProviding contractual guidance to the teamExcellent customer relationship managementFirst-time qualityFast and effective responsiveness to emerging needs and requirementsIntegrated business partnering with stakeholdersAbility to manage a diverse, fast-paced workloadA high degree of independenceResponsibilities:This position is expected to fulfil a variety of tasks and responsibilities typically associated with a Commercial technical role, including, but not limited to: Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in proposal development, negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies to support company strategies Leads the presentation and development of complex change requests and new business proposals Managing and reporting performance against contract KPI''s and incentives Represents the company in external negotiations with responsibility to ..... full job details .....
