Commercial Manager Planned Works Commercial Manager opportunity in Birmingham, leading the commercial delivery of major social housing planned works and investment programmes. We are working with a well-established property services and construction business that is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join its growing Planned Works division. This is a senior leadership position overseeing the commercial performance of multiple contracts, managing commercial teams and working closely with operational and client teams to ensure programmes are delivered profitably and successfully. Job Description Lead the commercial management of multiple social housing planned works contracts across Birmingham and the surrounding region. Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, Senior Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Surveyors. Drive commercial performance through effective forecasting, cost control, cash flow management and contract strategy. Oversee procurement and contract administration, including subcontractor management, valuations, payments, variations and final accounts. Provide commercial leadership throughout mobilisation, delivery and close-out while managing risk and maintaining strong client relationships.
