Commercial Manager Orsett, Essex We are working with a rapidly growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the UK. Due to continued expansion and a strong secured workload, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to take ownership of a significant portfolio of works valued between £70m - £100m+. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to influence business strategy, drive commercial performance, and play a key role in the future growth of the organisation. The Role Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will have full responsibility for the commercial performance of a portfolio of projects, ensuring robust governance, maximising profitability, managing risk, and leading a high-performing commercial team. Working closely with operational leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered commercially successfully while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting future business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals. Manage the commercial performance of a portfolio valued at £70m-£100m+. Drive margin improvement, cash collection, forecasting and financial performance. Oversee CVRs, cost-to-complete forecasting and commercial reporting.
