Commercial Manager Residential Development Surrey The Opportunity A leading, national volume housebuilder is seeking an ambitious Commercial Manager for its regional division covering Surrey. The successful candidate will drive profitability and oversee commercial operations across a diverse portfolio of major, high-quality residential communities. The Role The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the following:Leading the commercial lifecycle across multiple high-volume residential sites.Driving robust cost-control, budget management, and rigorous financial reporting.Overseeing large-scale procurement, tender processes, and sub-contractor negotiations.Leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing regional team of Quantity Surveyors.Identifying and mitigating commercial risks to maximize project margins and ensure efficient, on-time delivery. The Candidate The ideal professional for this role:Possesses established experience as a Commercial Manager, Managing QS or Senior QS (ready to make the step up) within the volume residential development sector.Demonstrates a deep understanding of the UK housebuilding market, building regulations, and contract law.Exhibits exceptional negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Is commercially astute, highly organized, and proven in delivering results within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.COINS experienceRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
