Commercial Manager / QS (Steel Manufacturing) 35,000 - 50,000 DOEMonday to FridayWirral and Cheshire BasedPermanentWe are thrilled to be recruiting for our hugely successful steel fabrication and engineering an experienced Commercial Manager / QS to join their rapidly expanding team.Your Key Responsibilities:Compilation of monthly financial reports for contracts and the Business unitLiaison with the Accounts department to manage DebtorsAbility to review contract documents to identify and manage commercial risk/ opportunity and advise on tender qualificationsLiaison with project management staff to ensure that all contractual correspondence, notifications and records are properly maintainedPreparing applications for payment and invoices to maximise cash-flow and recoveryIdentifying and valuing contract change and administering appropriatelyManage cost control across the projects and provide accurate forecastsStrong knowledge of NEC/ICC forms of and an ability to swiftly analyse and understand non-standard forms of Contract.Your ExperienceProven track record delivering contracts on time and within budgetAdvanced IT skillsExperienced in working within the Nuclear sector as full security clearance will be required for certain clientsAbility to work as part of a close-knit team and manage numerous activities/projects simultaneouslyYour QualificationsBachelor Quantity Surveying degree or other relevant qualificationExperience in Civil Engineering Positive approach to customer care ..... full job details .....
