Location: Soho, London
Salary: -70,000 - -90,000 + package

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor, based out of a commercial office in Soho. This is a key role overseeing the commercial delivery of two initial projects, both involving complex cut and carve construction works.

• Project 1: -30m
• Project 2: -40m

These schemes require strong commercial leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of refurbishment and structural alteration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of two concurrent projects
• Oversee cost planning, procurement strategy, and subcontractor management
• Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Clients
• Ensure commercial compliance with contract conditions and company procedures
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities

About You

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within a main contractor environment
• Strong background in cut and carve / refurbishment projects
• Experience managing projects in the -20m50m range
• Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT)
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
