Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading engineering and automation business delivering complex projects across infrastructure, logistics, transportation, and industrial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the commercial management of large-scale engineering projects, ensuring effective contract administration, cost control, risk management, and financial performance throughout the project life cycle. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, customers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of high-value projects while protecting the commercial interests of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the commercial management of complex engineering projects, ensuring effective cost control and risk mitigation. Administer and manage contracts with customers and subcontractors, ensuring contractual obligations are met and commercial risks are appropriately managed. Monitor project financial performance through forecasting, cost reporting, cash flow management, applications for payment, and billing plans. Manage change control processes, including the assessment, pricing, and negotiation of variations and compensation events. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
