One of London''s most vital transport operations are seeking a Commercial Manager to join a dynamic commercial team responsible for delivering complex procurement activity across a diverse portfolio. Role: Commercial ManagerDuration: 4 - 6 month contractPay: Up to 530 p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)Location: London (3 days onsite)You will take ownership of end-to-end procurement and commercial activities, managing high-value and strategically important projects from sourcing strategy through to contract award and ongoing commercial management.You''ll work across a broad range of categories including:Corporate Services, Contingent Labour and Workforce SolutionsFacilities Management, Fleet Management and Vehicle ServicesInfrastructure ProgrammesFramework AgreementsKey Responsibilities:Lead complex procurement exercises from strategy development through to contract award.Manage NEC-based procurement activities, ensuring robust commercial and contractual outcomes.Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned to organisational objectives.Deliver commercial negotiations with suppliers and stakeholders.Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, project teams and suppliers.Support infrastructure and asset-related programmes through effective procurement planning and contract management.Manage supplier performance, risk and contract governance.Work closely with legal teams on contract drafting, negotiation and implementation.Drive best practice ..... full job details .....
