Commercial Manager - Power and RenewablesGlasgow 75-90k + car allowance and bonusThis leading international contractor is looking to add a Commercial Manager to its Scottish Power and Renewables team.Supporting the commercial delivery of high voltage (HV) projects, with a focus on substations, switchgear installations, and cable works. The role involves cost control, contract administration, valuation, and project financial management to ensure cost-effective project execution, based from Glasgow.Candidates must be electrically biased coupled with Substation, Grid Connection, Battery Storage, Oil and Gas orientated project experience and will ideally have background working for contractors, specialist subcontractors, or operators.Candidates should have the following - - 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying ideally coupled with a technical background as either Electrician/Instrumentation Technician (or similar) or Electrical Engineer but not wholly necessary- 5+ years'' experience in a similar capacity working on projects in-excess of 7M in electrical scope, preferably including substation experience- Prior work placement experience would be advantageous- Proficient in excel- Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications- Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills- Excellent Record Keeping and Administration SkillsWith work secured for 5+ years this is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role within a strong existing commercial ..... full job details .....
