Commercial Manager

Your new company You will join an established and growing construction business with a strong regional presence and an excellent reputation for delivering successful public sector framework projects. Due to a senior-level vacancy, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of a division generating approximately 40m in annual turnover. Your new role Your responsibilities will include:Leading the division''s commercial strategy and providing direction to the QS teamMaximising profitability through regular commercial and project reviewsManaging variations, specification changes and opportunities to improve marginsOverseeing subcontract procurement, buying gains and regional supply-chain agreementsProducing accurate monthly cost, profitability, billing and risk reportsManaging cash collection, invoicing and accrued incomeIdentifying contractual and financial risks, including potential disputesWorking closely with operations, procurement, estimating and legal teamsSupporting tender adjudications using accurate project delivery cost dataMaintaining strong commercial relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliersDeveloping new and existing Quantity Surveyors within the businessWhat you''ll need to succeed You will be an experienced Commercial Manager, Managing Quantity Surveyor or senior commercial professional with a strong construction contracting background.You will need:Proven experience managing the ..... full job details .....
