Commercial ManagerBristol - Full time onsitePermanentSalary open, dependent on experience I m working with an established building services contractor looking to strengthen its commercial team in Bristol.This is for someone who can take ownership of commercial performance across major construction work, while supporting and developing the wider commercial team.You ll be involved across: Commercial and financial reportingCost control and forecastingContract and commercial riskSubcontractor managementClient relationshipsVariations and change managementSupporting and developing Quantity SurveyorsDriving strong commercial processes across the project I m looking for someone with a strong Quantity Surveying or commercial management background who is comfortable operating at senior level.Experience within MandE, building services or specialist contracting would be particularly relevant, although I m also happy to speak with people from wider construction backgrounds with significant MandE exposure.Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts would be useful. The underlying brief does require strong contract knowledge and experience around major contractors.
