Commercial Manager – Trade Association
A major trade association specialising in Heavy Plant and Construction Equipment are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead business development and customer relations.
Role: Commercial Manager
Area: Home Based/within the UK
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year
The requirements of the Commercial Manager will be:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, services, and initiatives that monetise the Association’s assets
- Work with senior leadership to design and launch revenue-generating programmes that support members and the wider industry
- Maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction to develop potential new revenue streams
- Develop and implement strategies to increase member retention and value
- Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and commercial partners
The ideal candidate for Commercial Manager will have:
- Experience within a trade association, membership body, or related organisation is essential
- A proven track record in a commercial, sales, or business development role,
- Experience in developing new commercial propositions
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and deliver new revenue opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
- Able to travel to trade shows and membership events when required
