Project Commercial ManagerLocation: East Yorkshire (Office-based with occasional project travel as required)Job Type: 12 month Fixed Term ContractAbout the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing construction business for an experienced Project Commercial Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful commercial team and play a key role in delivering high-value construction projects.Working closely with operational and commercial colleagues, you will take ownership of the commercial management of a major project from inception through to final account. You''ll be responsible for maintaining commercial performance, managing contractual obligations under NEC contracts, and ensuring the project remains financially robust.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end commercial management across allocated construction projects.Manage project costs, margins and cash flow to maximise commercial performance.Prepare and submit accurate, timely applications for payment.Produce and maintain project cash flow forecasts and financial reports.Review NEC contract documentation to identify commercial risks, opportunities and compliance requirements.Manage variations, change control and compensation events.Support the timely agreement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors.Monitor project performance against cost plans, identifying risks to profitability and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate commercial records and project ..... full job details .....
