      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | We're supporting a growing EPC in the appointment of a Commercial Manager to establish &amp; lead their commercial function.  This isn't a replacement hire or an opportunity to inherit an existing team. It's a genuine chance to build the commercial function from the ground up, working directly with senior leadership as the business continues its transition from smaller maintenance contracts into £1-3M HV infrastructure projects.  Experience across utilities, power, energy, infrastructure, civil engineering or major construction projects would be highly relevant. NEC contract experience is particularly desirable, while HV experience is beneficial but not essential.   The role will involve:   	 Reviewing, negotiating &amp; managing NEC contracts from tender through to project completion. 	 Managing commercial risk, variations, claims, valuations &amp; cost forecasting to maximise project profitability. 	 Supporting tender submissions, procurement &amp; commercial strategy across a growing portfolio of HV projects.
