Commercial Manager North of ScotlandAre you an experienced Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career opportunity with an established Scottish contractor?We are seeking an experienced commercial professional to join a successful contractor delivering a varied portfolio of construction and civil engineering projects across the north of Scotland and Highlands.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion.Lead contract negotiations and ensure appropriate commercial protection.Review contracts and identify, manage and mitigate commercial risk.Provide advice on contractual obligations, variations, extensions of time and commercial matters.Work closely with project teams to monitor costs, performance and commercial opportunities.Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.Provide commercial input from the early pre-construction stage.Ensure contractual procedures, notices and records are maintained correctly.Support procurement and contractual decision-making.Provide leadership and guidance to the wider commercial team.ABOUT YOUYou will have significant experience in commercial management within construction or civil engineering, with strong knowledge of contracts, negotiation and risk management.Ideally, you will have:Experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior QS or Managing QS.Strong knowledge of construction contracts ..... full job details .....
