Commercial Manager

Conrad Consulting is recruiting experienced CVA Commercial Managers to support a major infrastructure programme in London.

The successful candidates will join a specialist commercial assurance function responsible for auditing and reviewing costs across a major project supply chain.

The Role

You will provide commercial assurance through the review and verification of contractor and subcontractor costs.

Responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking commercial cost verification and audit.
• Reviewing contractor and subcontractor submissions.
• Assessing cost information and identifying discrepancies.
• Providing robust commercial challenge.
• Supporting commercial governance and reporting.
• Working with project, commercial and supply chain stakeholders.
• Applying NEC contractual knowledge where appropriate.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong commercial management experience.
• Experience within major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Previous cost verification, audit or commercial assurance experience.
• Strong NEC experience.
• Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work independently and provide constructive commercial challenge.

Candidates will be required to undertake a client interview and approval process before appointment.

Location: London
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + benefits
