Commercial Manager Edinburgh£85,000 £95,000 + car or car allowance + excellent overall benefits packageARC Group are working with a major international main contractor to appoint a Commercial Manager to take commercial leadership of a substantial building project in Edinburgh.This is a key project appointment with a significant programme of work still ahead and major procurement activity remaining. The successful person will therefore join at a stage where they can genuinely influence procurement strategy, commercial risk, cost control and the overall financial performance of the scheme.Alongside the project itself, the role offers the opportunity to join an internationally established contractor at an important stage in the continued growth of its UK Building operation, with Scotland forming part of its longer-term plans.The opportunity The Commercial Manager will take overall commercial responsibility for the project, working closely with the Project Director and wider delivery team.The position offers: Commercial leadership of a major Edinburgh building project Approximately two years of programme still to deliver Significant procurement and subcontract activity still ahead Genuine influence over procurement strategy and commercial performance A technically challenging scheme involving both existing and new construction Leadership and development of the project commercial team Direct involvement with senior project and operational management The resources and financial ..... full job details .....
