Commercial Management Accountant

About the Business An opportunity to be a Commercial Management Accountant for a service business based in Longbridge. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a business that is constantly growing and becoming well known in their market. Main Duties: As a Commercial Management Accountant your main duties include: Conduct independent monthly review meetings with the Director and service managers, serving as the main contact to assist budget holders with grant oversight, decision-making, and proposals for capital and investments. Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including creating accruals and prepayment journals as needed. Analyse and report on monthly variances, offering full-year forecasts, and collaborate with financial and non-finance staff where necessary. Deliver face-to-face presentations of financial performance to senior management each month, ensuring the reliability and precision of financial data. Provide expert judgment on financial matters, recommending strategies to enhance business performance. Lead and coordinate the annual budget-setting process alongside operational managers and the group consolidation team, with a focus on donor-funded programs. Location / Office / Culture This role is hybrid, with around 2 days in the offices in Longbridge.
