They are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to join their growing water infrastructure team based in Tamworth.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the commercial function on a high-profile water sector programme. You will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, managing risk, and ensuring the successful delivery of contracts from procurement through to final account.Whilst experience in the water sector would be an advantage, it is not essential. Our client is particularly keen to attract candidates with a strong civils background who can bring transferable commercial expertise to the team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all commercial activities across the programme, including contract administration, procurement, and cost managementManage and mentor a team of commercial staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvementProvide commercial strategy and guidance to the project leadership teamOversee the preparation and submission of valuations, variations, claims, and final accountsManage contract risk and opportunity, proactively identifying and resolving commercial issuesEnsure contractual compliance across the supply chain, including subcontract managementDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the ..... full job details .....
