Commercial Heating Engineer

Your new company An established and growing building services and maintenance department seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join its team across various locations in Edinburgh.Your new role You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of commercial gas heating systems across a range of commercial and public-sector properties. Duties will include planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown response and remedial works, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems in office blocks, leisure facilities and hotel-type accommodation, Service, repair and maintain commercial boilers, burners and heating plant, Diagnose and resolve faults on heating, hot water and control systemsComplete gas safety inspections, testing and commissioningProduce accurate service reports and maintenance recordsEnsure compliance with Gas Safe regulationsProvide a high level of customer service across multiple client sitesWhat you''ll need to succeed Essential RequirementsCity and Guilds Level 2 and 3 qualifications (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Heating or Mechanical ServicesCurrent Gas Safe Registration with relevant commercial gas qualificationsProven experience as a Commercial Gas EngineerStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance contractsGood understanding of Gas Safety ..... full job details .....
