Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to 60,000 per year (dependent on experience) Location: South West London / Surrey Overview: We''re looking for two experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to join a well-established and growing team. The role will involve servicing, breakdowns, and small works installations across a range of commercial and domestic heating systems. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned service and maintenance work on commercial and domestic combustion appliances (boilers, water heaters, etc.), plumbing systems, and some HVAC equipment. Install and replace HVAC appliances, pipework, and plumbing as part of small works projects. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in heating systems efficiently. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records using internal systems. Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota (currently 1 in 6 weeks). Skills and Experience: Proven experience with commercial and domestic heating systems (installation and maintenance). Commercial Gas Safe certification is essential. Strong knowledge of plumbing and pipework installation. Ability to write RAMS and Safe Systems of Work. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and customer service focus. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. Enhanced DBS required (for work within schools and colleges).
