Commercial Gas Engineer (Plumbing & Heating)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer with a Commercial Gas qualification to join our clients dynamic team. You will work across the-Maintenance, Small Works, and Projects departments,-ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Team:

• Service and maintain commercial boilers, heating systems, and pipework.

• Conduct safety and compliance checks on gas appliances.

• Troubleshoot and repair faults in plumbing and heating systems.

• Carry out preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records.

Small Works Team:

• Install, replace, or upgrade heating and plumbing components.

• Complete minor retrofit projects and emergency repairs.

• Work independently to provide high-quality service to clients.

Projects Team:

• Install new commercial heating and plumbing systems.

• Support project commissioning and handover processes.

• Coordinate with other contractors and follow design specifications.

• Produce documentation, including test certificates and manuals.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Commercial Gas Safe registration.

• Domestic Gas Safe registration ( Preferred but not essential )

• Proven experience in commercial & domestic plumbing and heating.

• Happy to mentor members of the team when working-

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of commercial standards and regulations is preferred.
