Commercial Gas Engineer / Metering Engineer

Gas Industrial and Commercial Metering Engineer.
An exciting opportunity has arisen on a long-term contract completing Industrial & Commercial Gas meter installations across the Yorkshire area.
Locations: Yorkshire, North West & East Midlands

Salary: Competitive Salary, paid weekly, two weeks in arrears. Hours of work: 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Saturday & Sunday work available.

Benefits: 28 days paid holiday per annum (includes 8 days statutory) After 3 years with the company an additional 3 days holiday. Successful applicants will also be eligible to participate in the company pension scheme. Company van, fuel, PPE & any required specialist equipment will be provided.
Applicants must provide their own standard gas fitting tool kit.
As part of this job type you will initially be required to complete;
• Install, Remove and Exchange Gas meters from U6 to U160, Rotary and Turbine meters on all pressure Tiers
• Complete site survey work (training provided)
You will need -
• CCN1, MET1, CMET1(CMET2)
• Be presentable and have excellent customer service skills.
• Have effective communication skills
• Minimum 1-year experience in the Gas Industry and work to a VERY high standard.
• Be a good timekeeper.
• Have good administration skills.
• Have a flexible approach to your working hours
• A valid UK driving licence is also essential
