Commercial Gas Engineer

Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established mechanical contractor based in Liverpool. This is a permanent opportunity working across a range of public sector contracts including schools, healthcare facilities, and local authority buildings throughout the North West. The role offers local work with very little travel, a supportive team environment, and excellent long-term career prospects. Roles and Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems Servicing, fault finding, and repairing commercial heating plant and associated equipment Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime Completing all relevant service reports and compliance documentation Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients on site Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota Skills and Qualifications Required Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer Valid Commercial Gas ACS qualifications Experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK Driving Licence Excellent communication and customer service skills What''s On Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company van and fuel card Local work across Liverpool and the North West with minimal travel 1-in-5 call-out rota Overtime ..... full job details .....
