Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer £18-£25 p/hr Looking for Oxfordshire or close to engineer Role purpose To deliver safe, compliant and high-quality planned and reactive gas engineering services across a nationwide customer portfolio. The role will initially place particular value on proven commercial gas experience, while also supporting broader multi-skilled maintenance work where qualified and competent to do so. The engineer will represent the business professionally on site, manage allocated work efficiently, communicate clearly with customers and ensure all work records, certificates and close-out information are complete and accurate. Key responsibilities Undertake planned preventive maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault finding, repair, installation support and commissioning activities on commercial gas appliances and associated plant. Attend reactive call-outs, diagnose faults, make safe where necessary and complete repairs within agreed service levels. Carry out work safely and in accordance with current legislation, Gas Safe requirements, manufacturer guidance, risk assessments, method statements and company procedures. Complete relevant service reports, gas safety documentation, job updates, photographs, timesheets and materials records accurately and promptly through the company systems. Provide clear customer updates on arrival, progress, operational risks, required parts, follow-on works and completion.
