Commercial Gas Engineer 
Location : London

Basic salary £52,000 - £60,000/ 40 hour working week/ travel – 30 minutes / 29 days holiday/ on call 1 in 4/ overtime x1.5 and x2/ completion bonus/ van and fuel card/  
 
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our company based in the South-East. We currently employ over 150 engineers in the South-East alone across the Mechanical & Electrical sector as well as commercial gas and air conditioning.  
 
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and repair work on a wide range of commercial gas systems across various commercial premises which mainly include Leisure Centres & Retailers  
 
Role Responsibilities – Commercial Gas Engineer 

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on a wide range of commercial gas appliances and heating systems. 
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive breakdowns across various commercial premises such as Retailers, Restaurants and Leisure Centres 
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption for clients. 
• Complete safety inspections and gas certificates in line with current regulations and compliance standards. 
• Maintain clear and accurate job records and reports using company systems and documentation. 
• Work independently and as part of a team to manage your daily workload, attending scheduled appointments across the region. 
• Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota, attending emergency call-outs and ensuring high standards of customer service during out-of-hours visits. 
• Communicate effectively with clients and site representatives, providing updates and explanations where necessary. 
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures, site rules, and company protocols at all times. 
• Maintain van stock and tools to required levels and report any shortages or equipment issues promptly. 
• Represent the company professionally at all times, upholding quality and safety standards. 

 
Essential Qualifications / Experience: 

• Commercial gas qualifications (Commercial CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1,COCN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1,CoNGLP1PD ) 
• Full Driver’s Licence 

 Package: 

• Basic salary up tp £60K
• 40 hour working week
