My client, an established HVAC service provider are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. This role involves breakdown, repair, and servicing of commercial gas systems across Birmingham. Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: -47,000 per annum

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in commercial gas systems.
• Conducting routine servicing and maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Responding to breakdowns and providing timely, effective solutions.
• Ensuring all work complies with current safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Relevant Gas Safe qualifications (e.g., CCN1, COCN1, CODNCO1, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial gas systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Your typical day will involve:

• Traveling to client sites across Birmingham to carry out scheduled maintenance or respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnosing issues and implementing effective repairs.
• Performing routine servicing to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.
• Liaising with clients to provide updates and recommendations.
• Completing all necessary documentation and reports.
• Participating in an on-call rota to provide emergency support when required.
