Commercial Finance Manager

OverviewCo-Founder and Specialist Finance Recruiter - Recruiting finance professionals across the North West. Based in Salford (1-2 days a week). Salary: highly dependent on experience + car allowance + 15% bonus + benefits including enhanced matched pension, private medical and more.

RoleExciting opportunity within a global services business taking a lead on producing financial models and supporting strategic growth underpinning new business opportunities. Working within a fast-paced, competitive market this role plays a critical role within the function, working commercially with sales, operations, senior leadership and the wider finance function.

Act as finance and commercial support on new opportunities, developing and championing effective commercials

Collaborating with wider teams and stakeholders ensuring alignment of financial and commercial approaches to new contracts

Ownership of financial modelling for each contract, managing high volume complex datasets and delivering to non-finance stakeholders

Providing pricing, commercial and financial support to wider teams as part of the contract process

Presenting commercial analysis and financial outputs to the FD, MD and wider team

Building and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders across various areas

Identifying and delivering financial analysis, benchmarking summaries and commentary to support new contract bids

Experience / Qualifications

ACCA/CIMA qualified OR studying with a desire to qualify

Proven stakeholder management experience is essential

Large business exposure is essential

Financial modelling skills within Excel – essential

Experience in a business delivering on contracts, bids, tenders desirable but not essential
