Commercial Finance Manager - Retail

Cedar is supporting a global retail business with the hire of a Commercial Finance Manager. In this role you''ll act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, delivering insightful analysis, accurate forecasting, and business planning across head office departments and all retail channels. You''ll also play a pivotal part in the preparation of board reports, trade reviews, and new business proposals, all with a focus on enhancing commercial decision-making and supporting sustainable growth.Base pay range

Partner with senior stakeholders to review costs, forecast overheads, and identify opportunities for efficiencyLead monthly budget reviews with department heads and help shape action plansOversee and review weekly trade performance, with detailed margin and stock analysisSupport property-related financial planningDeliver monthly reporting on PandL, KPI dashboards, and variance analysisPrepare budget, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year plansAct as a key contact for group-wide reporting, analysis, and planningManage and develop one Commercial Finance AnalystQualifications and Experience

Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)Experience in a multi-site or retail environment preferredStrong commercial finance and business partnering backgroundProven ability to deliver strategic insight and influence stakeholdersStrong forecasting, budgeting, and business case preparation skillsKey Attributes
