This is a key, hands-on role within the UK leadership team. You will run the UK finance function day to day, reporting to the Group Financial Controller with a dotted line to the UK Managing Director, and play a real part in driving profitable growth. The role * Own the monthly close and produce the UK management accounts * Lead statutory reporting, the external audit, VAT, corporation tax and packaging compliance (Plastic Packaging Tax and EPR) * Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting * Own product costing, stock accounting and cost allocation * Partner with sales, operations and the management team on pricing, customer profitability, business cases and investment decisions * Manage cash flow, working capital and credit control * Oversee AP and AR, and support payroll, IT and fleet activities * Lead and develop one direct report * Drive process and systems improvements across finance About you * 5+ years in finance within an operational busine...
