Commercial Finance Manager

My client is looking for a highly commercially minded qualified accountant, who can really get into the numbers, build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, and bring the kind of financial acumen that goes well beyond month-end reporting. Key responsibilities:Owning the financial narrative behind major bids and commercial proposals - building the models, testing the assumptions, and making the numbers tell the right storyDeveloping scenario and risk analysis that gives the business real confidence when making investment and operational decisionsPartnering with senior leaders, service heads and key stakeholders to inform strategy, not just report on itTurning financial complexity into clear, compelling insight that non-finance teams can act onDriving value across the organisation by identifying efficiency opportunities and supporting cost improvement initiativesKeeping a close eye on budgets, forecasts and emerging financial risks and making sure the right people know about them early.
