Commercial Finance Manager

Alexander Daniels are working with a growing company based in North Warwickshire who are looking to recruit for a Commercial Finance Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is an office based position with some flexibility. The role is responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and business partnering support across a construction focused organisation. You will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision making by providing timely and accurate financial information. Key Responsibilities: Project Accounting Partner with commercial and operational teams to monitor project performance and profitability. Support the preparation and review of project cost and value reporting. Develop an understanding of contract terms and payment mechanisms to ensure accurate financial reporting. Work closely with project managers and commercial teams to support project valuations and final account processes. Manage revenue recognition and monthly work-in-progress (WIP) accounting. Produce project working capital and cash flow reporting. Monitor project performance against budgets and forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis and recommendations. Financial Accounting Maintain records relating to asset financing and lease agreements. Prepare monthly WIP schedules and supporting reconciliations.
