Commercial Finance Director

Cedar is supporting high growth a PE backed business to appoint a Commercial Finance Director. This role will play a key role in driving commercial performance, operational decision making, and strategic growth initiatives.Key responsibilities will include:Acting as a strategic finance partner to the divisional MD and senior leadership teamDriving commercial insight, performance analysis, and business decision supportLeading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesDeveloping KPI reporting and improving visibility around business performanceSupporting pricing, margin optimisation, and operational efficiency initiativesPartnering closely with operational leaders to influence performance and growthLeading and developing a high-performing finance teamSupporting strategic projects, investment decisions, and MandA activity where requiredEnsuring robust financial controls and governance within a fast-paced environmentCandidate profileA commercially minded Finance Director with strong business partnering capabilityExperience operating within a large, multi-site or services-led environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersPrevious PE-backed experience would be advantageous, although not essentialPlease feel free to reach out directly for a confidential conversation. ..... full job details .....
