Commercial Finance Controller

Robert Half has partnered with a project-based business to recruit for a Commercial Finance Controller, based in South Leeds. This is a senior, commercially focused finance position with responsibility for financial reporting, project performance, forecasting and commercial decision-making, while partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams. Key responsibilities Lead monthly and annual financial reporting processes. Maintain strong financial controls and ensure the accuracy of financial information. Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support business decision-making. Oversee the financial management of a portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects. Monitor project costs, revenue, margins and financial performance. Support revenue recognition and project timing, with IFRS 15 experience desirable. Partner closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and operational teams. Support cash flow, working capital and wider commercial initiatives. Lead, develop and support the finance team. Support the integration of the business into wider Group finance governance and processes. Drive improvements across finance processes, systems and reporting. About you Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Several years'' post-qualified experience operating at a senior finance level.
